Spark & Knot is the shared creative space of Steven and Kim—two makers with different creative specialties, a mutual love of working with their hands, and absolutely no shortage of new ideas. Kim has been stitching for decades and still gets just as excited about color, texture, and a fresh project as she did when she first began. Her work blends traditional fiber arts with modern tools and techniques, including Cricut and sublimation designs. Her creations can be beautiful, useful, heartfelt, funny—or sometimes all four at once. Steven brings his own eye for materials, balance, and detail to hand-beaded jewelry and wood carvings. His bracelets are designed one at a time, allowing the colors, stones, textures, and personality of each piece to guide the finished design. Our work may take different forms, but it is connected by the same things: quality, creativity, personality, and the joy of making something that someone will genuinely love to wear, use, give, or display.
